Although, unable to provide a stipend for work, Conscious Harvest is willing to work with your institution to provide college credit upon completion. Conscious Harvest is looking for a Media Intern for the 2018 season! This position will be 10 hours per week and will be responsible for Conscious Harvest's media outreach. We are looking for someone who is passionate and excited about social media. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who is able to complete tasks by their assigned deadline. This person will preferably have a background in marketing, advertising, communications, or have extensive experience working on brand promotion through social media. Conscious Harvest is seeking a Program Intern to assist in the development and operation of it's programs! This individual will get insight into the operations of a growing non-profit and will be able to take a hands on role in its daily operations. For this position, we are looking for someone willing to support the execution of all programs as needed. The Programs Intern will work directly with Executive Staff on volunteer recruitment, logistical coordination, data tracking, volunteer management, community outreach, fundraising and event promotion and execution. Conscious Harvest is looking for an intern to manage production on our communal plots. This position requires 15 hours of work per week during our growing season, May to October. We are looking for an individual who has experience growing produce using sustainable and organic practices. The Production Intern will be responsible for garden maintenance, plot preparation, planting, monitoring plant health, managing plant health, and harvesting production. Ability to work bi-weekly Saturday's and one week night is a must. The ideal individual will be a team player who is comfortable providing instruction and guidance to volunteers of all demographics. Above all, we are seeking someone who is passionate about food justice and interested in being part of an growing organization dedicated to provide a more food inclusive environment.
